Fun news for Vital Bracelet fans!
Bandai is doing a general US release of the Vital Bracelet under the new branding of 'Vital Hero'.
A teaser video Bandai put on Twitter has a date of June 1st, suggesting they may have gotten a few wires crossed or had to delay formal pre-orders (although there own wording suggests the actual pre-orders could open at any time in the next day.)

The Vital Hero will come in Blue and Black, with each coming with a different Dim Card.
One thing that isn't completely clear at the moment is if these are based on the original Vital Bracelet, the updated Digivice V, or some new model with aspects of both (although some more info later has a key detail.) The product information is relatively generic for the products:
Vital Hero Blue Band comes with [Dim Card Name] Dim Card
Collect all Dim Cards to Extend play
USB charger included
Step counter, heart rate vital function (not medically accurate), LED screen with time function
Adjustable Band Size
The first interactive wearable Gamified Band that lets you level up and battle with a Digital Monster! Complete easy to hard Activity Missions such as sprinting, shadow boxing, sit ups/crunches, and walking a certain number of steps to earn trophies, increase your battle win rate, and evolve your character. Battles are prompted automatically after training missions are completed or if you tap your band against any NFC reader (Tap to Pay, Phones, etc.). Each Digital Monster evolution will be different, no two people will get the same evolution at the same time. Move More, Battle More.

Black comes with the Impulse City Dim, newly branded as 'Pulse City', which matches information found in a Vital Bracelet Lab app update recently. This should be, content wise, the same Pulsemon Dim we've seen for the last year and a half.
Blue comes with the Wolf Howl Dim, which also had information began to pop up in the most recent app update. This is a Dim focused on Gabumon with evolution paths based on Garurumon and Garurumon (Black).
Data on a 'Dinosaur Roar' Dim focused on Agumon with Greymon and Greymon (Blue) evolution paths was also in the app data, but hasn't shown up more formally yet. (Although you can spot it on the packaging. if you look on the side.)

Both Vital Hero colors have pages on Amazon, and pre-orders could open at any time: (affiliate links)
Vital Hero Black
Vital Hero Blue
Price data we should have shortly.
They are listed for release on July 21st.
In addition to the Vital Hero device itself, we have some Dim sets...

The first 3 standard Dim sets are also coming along. Although most of these have had generally wide release in the west, another chance to get them is good.

The Dim Card lineup features:
V1, which has Volcanic Beat, featuring various fiery Digimon, with a focus on Vorvomon, and Blizzard fang, featuring ice Digimon, with a focus on Blucomon.
V2, which has Infinite Tide, which features a wide variety of water Digimon and Titan of Dust, which has a large variety of desert Digimon.
V3, which has Hermit in the Jungle, which has a large variety of planet Digimon, along with Nu Metal Empire, which focuses on mechanical Digimon.
The back of the packaging also adds details regarding the app and Vital Hero being English only, and also details that a Dim Card only works on 'one' Vital Hero, which is the most solid detail we have that the initial Vital Hero looks to be the original Vital Bracelet.

These have updated Vital Hero branding and are $20 each, and will also be out on July 21st.
Pre-orders are opening and closing at Amazon as things get updated, etc.: (Affiliate links)
Dim Card Set v01- Volcanic Beat and Blizzard Fang
Dim Card Set v02- Infinite Tide & Titan of Dust
Dim Card Set v03- Hermit in the Jungle & Nu Metal Empire
A wider release of the Vital Bracelet, rebranded as the Vital Hero, is only a good thing for fans, as it makes it easier and in general, cheaper to collect, along with making it easier to recommend since there are no hoops to jump through.
We should get more updates shortly, hopefully with news of even more Dims and other details.
