Vital Bracelet Preview Videos from V-Jump

Went to go post the 2nd one and it looks like the 1st hadn't been posted (thought it had gone in a weekend 'stuff' post, but seemingly not.)


V-Jump has uploaded two preview videos for the Vital Bracelet. They both feature Victory Uchida and Sekido, who is in charge of development for the Vital Bracelet (we saw him at DigiNavi, and he has popped up in a number of interviews recently.)


No subtitles for these unfortunately, but you get to see usage of the Vital Bracelet itself a decent amount, including some usage of it with the smartphone app, including the NFC feature in use.


The Vital Bracelet is scheduled for release on March 13th

from what we see in the videos, things look nice so far. It does have a lot of Japanese text so non-Japanese readers will probably need some time to familiarize themselves with the device and app. What I really want to see is footage of how a wild Digimon battle looks, I'd love to get an idea of what Digimon we fight and how that might change from what DIM you're using

It looks huge on their wrists, especially vertically. Doesn't look to be something you can comfortably wear around all day... which is kinda disappointing. LCD also looks a bit washed out, almost like they are using a frontlit reflective TFT LCD - but that may just be the video.

Regardless, (a) new digimon merch and (b) color sprites - so I am excited.

So the top button is to scroll and the bottom is to select. Wonder how you would cancel a selection or go back.

Looks like a cancel option at the end of each list of options?

I just hope these don't have species-based stat caps, especially since "Ultras" are available and I don't want there to be only 2-4 viable digimon in battles. Plus I want to beat Omegamon with a Gorimon or something.
