Bandai-Namco has announced they will be taking fan questions for the Game Corner segment of Digimon Con.

Questions can be submitted using this form until January 4th.

The description is:
We are welcoming fan questions at our "DIGIMON CON" game corner!

Ask us anything about our past Digimon games, about the up-and-coming Digimon Survive, and game production. We welcome all questions, so do write in and share with us.

So hey, they plan to talk about Survive more than pasting a message into Twitter after 12 months, small victory.

Prior Digimon Con news can be found here.

The fact that they're actually willing to take questions on Survive is a great sign since it signals to me that we'll be getting some (somewhat) substantial news on the game after the maddening amount of radio silence. Not sure if I'm optimistic enough to expect a release date, but it at least leads me to believe that they aren't just gonna mention the game out of obligation and quickly move on.

It's likely confirmed that Survive will be released next year. No more delay. Well, hopefully.

My question was:

"Will digimon that have only appeared in video games like BEMmon and Grimmon ever be included in the Reference Book?"

I was always curious about this so hopefully it will get a answer

I'm sure we'll get more Survive questions because of course. At least one maybe. I'm not sure what I could think of to ask.

I asked about the inclusion of the Olympos XII in upcoming games and the chance of getting a MMORPG of Digimon in the future.

Digimon Battle, Digimon Masters, Digimon Source Code are all MMOs that are currently running

They also said in 2020's video game question thing (not the first tiem theyve done this) that they plan to launch more MMOs in the future.

Did you mean Digimon Super Rumble? Digimon Source Code is a Chinese gacha(?) game last time I checked.

Quick question: I never played the DS games, but I heard that the Story games had somewhat limited storage space for your monsters, much like the Wonderswan games and Digimon World 2 before them. That correct?

When it comes to monster-raising games, I really like to collect the wide variety of beasties they have to offer. And it disappoints the hell out of me when storage space falls too short of being able to have a living collection. That said, I love that Cyber Sleuth and Hacker's Memory actually do have adequate space (though just barely for the latter, at least if you don't take advantage of transferring in the complete version), so I'd like to ask them if they intend to continue such a trend in future RPGs.
