It looks like it's time for the ongoing card previews for Booster Set 3 to start!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 3 Union Impact. This time it's the V-mon and XV-mon.

We're starting off with V-mon and XV-mon! V-mon is using an aerial version of V-mon Head against some falling debris, while the XV-mon card appears to have him flying above the scenery from the V-mon card, while charging a X-Laser. Both cards have a nice cartoony and detailed look to them, and there is some nice shading going on in both.

Digimon Card Game Booster Set 3 Union Impact is scheduled to release on October 30th.

An expected duo given Imperialdramon is the cover 'mon, but not unwelcome.

Having Jamming on Veemon is going to be a huge boost for Rookie Rush decks. ExVeemon's effect being non-specific means you could theoretically attack with Veemon then Evolve it to ExVeemon whose effect would put it Active again for a second attack.

Against Shakkoumon, though.
most colors could easily get rid of a rookie (yellow probably easiest), and once Veemon is tapped every color can do it easily. However, having the opponent suddenly have to deal with getting rid of Veemon is powerful all on its own as that's taking away their focus and resources from other places

Summoning Sickness being a thing hurts a lot though, you'll always see it coming a turn ahead of time and unless it's in the Raising Area you'll always be able to answer. (But if it's there any level 4 with Jamming could be instead.) On top of that this sucks against Blockers.

That said, the really scary part of it is that it's searchable in the best Blue deck right now.

yes, I did take this into account but you still need to waste your resources on a rookie in order to not have your security chipped away at unless you have a blocker.
The search thing I hadn't realized, though. Blue has been bs from the start

Sure, but that was true of most of the decks that would be interested in this effect anyway.
