V-Jump Card Game Previews- Booster Set 12 Agumon, WarGreymon, Arresterdramon, Takuya, Daisuke, Taichi, & Tagiru, plus More!

We have card previews from the new issue of V-Jump, with the big focus being Booster Set 12.

First up, 3 Digimon cards previewed in the issue. Agumon, WarGreymonl, and Arresterdramon.

Some nice art all around, and it's nice to finally have Arresterdramon show up (even if we've seen the art before on the packaging.)



Next up, tamer cards!

New anime style art for all! Takuya and Daisuke get new cards in the set, having previously got ones before.

Taichi from Digimon Adventure finally gets a card! Despite the many Taichi cards, this is actually the first one of the classic style, as young Taichi was always from 2020 previously, along with his looks in tri. and Kizuna also previously getting card.

Plus Tagiru! The lead from Hunters was a shoe-in to get one with Arresterdramon showing up, but nice to get a look at the card.



And last up...

Some extra details for Booster 12.

It references there being 3 'super treasure' class rare cards. At the moment we're guessing this is like the 3 gold foil parallel cards from Booster 11.
It also mentions that one of the Secret Rares will not only have a parallel card, but a 2nd even more rare one.
As a box topper there will also be a very rare card. (Again, similar to Booster 11.)



We're still early in Booster Set 12 previews, but a good selection from V-Jump this month, with a number of cards people have been waiting to see.

Was *not* expecting Gumdramon to be purple, but it makes sense due to both his coloring and the fact his final form is part Bagramon.

Also interesting that theyve made regular Tai's Wargreymon Black/Red.

If its only Agumon and WarGreymon that'll save some space at least. Surprised Tagiru doesn't have any Gumdramon/Arresterdramon support effects but I suppose having a Tamer for the new Save arcetype makes sense.

I expected him to be Purple for those very reasons. He's purple himself and Bagramon can be his mega.

The thing i absolutely love about the Digimon card game is the small references that they make with the cards. I got hit hard with nostalgia once i realized that Wargreymon card is a reference to Pocket Digimon World intro.

Someone on reddit brought up the possibility Tagiru's effect allowing to put a digimon under Arresterdramon as a reference to Xros Up. Which would reduce the likehood of the weird Digixros of this season showing up. I hope is not the case, I was really excited for some new additions.

Oh good I'm not the only one.

Now I kind of want an Andromon or Ogremon card referencing that, the latter if literally only because I'm pretty sure it's the single time in the franchise we've actually seen an Ogremon get its club by beating up a Skullgreymon.

I reread your post a few times and I am not sure if I understood. Do you mean someone posted the same thought two posts before mine in this thread, or perhaps you mean the card translation by Bancho?

If the latter, is what I meant. My "I hope is not the case" is about the possibility of anime-only digixros getting a card and the DRB treatment, not if the Tagiru card would have such effect.
