US Digimon X2 V-Pets Pre-Orders Open

After a bit of a wait from when we found out about them a few months ago, pre-orders are open for the US release of the Digimon X2 V-Pets!

They currently show as scheduled for the end of March. The original info we had gotten awhile ago suggested March or April, and with shipping backed up, a delay wouldn't be a shock.

The Digimon lineup should be equivalent to what was in the original Japanese release, which previously got a limited release in the US.

The version lineup should be branded by the X color, the same as the X1.
Grey and Gold should be the same programming as Red.
Navy and Silver should be the same programming as Purple.




Nice to get clean high resolution images of them all, so one more batch...

I really wanted a Translucent device, but after seeing the Silver and Navy colours, I'm having second doubts. I suppose it's probably a while until Australia gets the preorders, so I can mull over it till then.

Wow, that purple is pretty intensely vivid compared to the deep dark of the original. I too had hoped for translucency on the alternate colors, but they still look pretty great to me. Will be picking up the grey/gold one for sure.

Also the brush stroke detail on the X itself looks much better than the US X1s. I know it's a tiny meaningless detail, but it always kinda bothered me about first set. Made them feel comparatively cheap to their Japanese counterparts.
