After being delayed when tri. part 2 came out, the theater version Blu-ray will finally be released and part 3 will be released on schedule!
Delayed due to various unspecified reasons, the theater version Blu-ray for part 2 is coming out roughly half a year after it was supposed to.
And part 3's theater BD will be out on schedule with no random delays.
The cover is a bit blinding for this one...
Both releases will be identical to the normal release minus the different packaging.
They will come in normal Blu-ray cases with the poster art being used on the insert, with a monochrome version (based on the poster color background) on a sleeve, continuing the visual theme part 1's theater version Blu-ray began.
They will contain the normal liner notes included with the retail release.
They don't list if the disks will have alternate silkscreening like part 1 did.
Both disks will be available 1 per purchase of each disk for tickets holders when tri. part 3 is in theaters for 7,407 yen each on September 24th. They will be very limited in stock with no guarantee of being able to buy one.
tri. part 3 has it's normal Blu-ray release on November 2nd.
tri. part 2 had it's normal Blu-ray release on April 2nd.
