And Australia gets tri.... again!

Image Thumbnail (custom)

The US and UK got tri. Complete sets pretty much concurrently to the release of Part 6, but Australia was left out until now.

Madman in Australia has listed Digimon Adventure tri. Complete sets on their 'Business 2 Business' catalog website under the title of "Digimon Adventure Tri Complete Series"

The expected release date is April 15th. Blu-ray will be $90 and DVD will be $80.

Both are listed as six discs with both English and Japanese audio, and English subtitles, same as the standalone releases (likely the same discs.)

Most of the information appears to be relatively basic stand-in info and the stand in cover is just the original tri. teaser art.

The plot description they give is...
It's been six years since that summer adventure when Taichi Yagami and the rest of the DigiDestined crossed over to the Digital World. And nearly three years have passed since the final battle between Hikari Yagami's group and BelialVamdemon. As the peaceful days passed by, at some point the gate to the Digital World closed.

But when a Kuwagamon suddenly appears in Odaiba, its rampage leaves the town in ruins, and the people there in turmoil. Taichi chases after it, in an effort to halt its rampage. But there's nothing he can do against a Kuwagamon. Not by himself.

And that's where a new adventure begins...

The specifications match prior releases in general, and all the prior extras from the single discs are listed.

While a lot of fans in Australia will already have tri., a complete set is a good way to have more people interested in it when they can nab it all as a one shot, especially when it eventually gets discounted.

Like Australia, Japan is also getting tri. Complete boxes early in 2020.

We should take Digimon Adventure tri., and put it on [adult swim] Toonami.
