Ayy, I was wondering what the duo would look like. They went with their XW designs but threw in effects relating to Dorulumon and Balistamon in reference to Hunters. At least they still get to keep the Xros Heart Trait.

Since all they do is support Dorulumon and ballistamon I feel like theres a million better Tamers. They don't even say containing so don't support their evolutions

Maybe, but these are specifically for the current Xros Heart deck it looks like, and they do a good job on that front. Playing Dorulumon means you get get to give -3000DP for 3 cost rather than 4 (Dorulumon's actual play cost), and draw a card. Zenjiro plays Ballistamon, which then becomes a Blocker, for 3 cost instead of 4 cost, but then Zenjiro gives you extra memory so it's actually 2 cost.

What they're really here for is to give the deck extra draw power (Akari gives you Draw +1 when you play a Digimon with Xros Heart, which includes Dorulumon and of course any Shoutmon Xros) and extra memory (Zenjiro gives you Memory +1 for the same conditions as Akari, so that includes playing Ballistamon). The deck practically revolves around Taiki, so having these other Tamers to pick up the slack helps. Using Save to place Dorulumon under a Zenjiro that you can later use an Akari to bring out, for example, at least gives you ways to play around not having Taiki and getting to him (with extra draws). They're good support.

I guess that's fair in the free draws and such. Still think they should've said contain to allow support for future Atlur and Jeager cards

Since they dont say "a card with [Dorulumon] or [Ballistamon] in their name", I guess there probably wont be Jager or Altur this set.

Considering there's no space left for RaptorSparrowmon, I'd say that's a likely assumption.

To be fair, I wasn’t expecting any mangamon in this set since it seems to be centered around the first and possibly second arc of the anime given Minervamon’s presence since Hunters and the manga could easily fill a second set together.
