Tamer Card Tagiru & Option Card Overflowing Power Previews for Booster Set 12

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 12 Across Time. This time it's Tagiru & Overflowing Power.

Not a shock after Gumdramon & Arresterdramon earlier... Tagiru features brand new anime style artwork, and Overflowing Power features Arresterdramon powering up... a lot, with some nice effects in different places places in the image. (Overflowing Power appears to be a bit of a pun based on the Hunters insert song Tagiru Chikara.)

NGL, I was so expecting Tagiru in Red that its refreshing to see I was wrong. Interesting that "Hunter" is now an Archetype for the Tamers, much like Xros Heart and whatnot were in past Sets.

I don't think I've been as concerned for a decks powerlevel as I am for this archetype. It remains to be seen how the whole metagame shakes out but this seems so generic and versatile.

I have been hearing the card game power creep is getting faster, is indeed concerning because it makes you wonder about the game's longevity and if that's a concern. Said that, they did bake a rotation format by numbering the cards with their year from release. So there is a possibility for them to create more formats and control that.

Otherwise and assuming the game will not go down anytime soon, they will probably rely in an extended banlist, not unlike what Konami does with YGO.

I also feel if they want to introduce anti-meta strategies to stop Digixros and [Save] decks, they can do this in this very set, with some sort of Quartzmon based deck.
