Some card game updates!

The 16th Tamer Battle Pack will be given away to all participants at Tamer Battle events in February.

It features parallel cards of:
Gammamon Promo Card
Angoramon Promo Card
Jellymon Promo Card
Psychemon from Booster Set 8


Each of these work the same as any other parallel card, they have different artwork, but are for gameplay and deck building purposes, the same card as the card they are parallel cards of.


Winners at those Tamer Battle events will get a new Winners card...

The Winners Card this time is an alternate parallel card of Psychemon.

It's been announced that participants of Tamer Meeting events in February will get a new pack called the Special Promotion Pack 2023 Version 1

Each pack comes with 1 of 6 new parallel cards:

Oh how nice. Gammamon with that background filled with all Adult forms of his just like Pulsemon's background with his own Adult evo forms! I will collect that for sure!!

Psychemon's artstyle is really good! He looks so cool!

All other artworks are nice but I'm surprised ModokiBetamon is cute in that artwork.

That's beautiful Gammamon card. Hopefully one day we'll get a card like that again but with his Perfects.

It seems most Betamon species love leaves.

Why, Jellymon? You can levitate yourself.
And that, everyone, is the largest Gammamon wings we've ever seen.
For me, Kenji Watanabe is one of the great illustrators, not only in Digimon, but generally in illustration world. His touch is distinctively unique. I love that Angoramon card.

Those are our first cards after Mugendramon from EX1 to get parallels, right?

They need to make blue, green, and purple Gammamon cards to match with KausGammamon, WezenGammamon, and Gulusgammamon cards.

Is Jellymon in that picture standing on and surrounded by Real world Jelly fish? I don't pay attention to cards much these days, but does real-world wild life appear in digimon card pictures a lot?

Yeah it's really weird. Ceresmon with mysterious "real life" pigs.

Armadimon with a "real life" mole or toony...

Now this Jellymon hopping around those jellyfishes.

It just occurred to me that I can't determine if they are in the real world for sure. Because throughout the anime, characters have been catching actual fish to eat in the digital world. But have we seen any of those other animals in the digital world? And that meat in all the games and v-pets has to come from somewhere.

Yeah it's unique meat whose gained vegetable roots functions and grow like the plants but with the meat flavor, appearance and everything added. In Digimon only.

But it's weird digimon seasons seemed it didn't have digi-meat but in the games only... I find it odd if the digi-meat is sorta like digimon's food mascot then they just ignored it and only focus on real japanese foods to feed.

MetalGreymon and MetalTyranomon's background are such fun references to Adventure 2020 season.

I would love that Kenji Watanbe art and its storybook aesthetic but both of Angoramon's legs just do not look anatomically correct. The first thing my mind notices about the card is "wow, that looks extremely off".

The Gammamon, Psychemon, and Tortamon cards are my favorite of this bunch
