Taichi & Yamato Tamer Cards Previews for Booster Set 2

New card previews from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with more card previews from Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power. This time it's the tamer cards for Taichi and Yamato.

Taichi is a black card and Yamato is purple. Both of these use new artwork that has a very polished and clean look to it. Both characters are drawn quite well, with a few more angles than it feels like we've seen lately.



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power is scheduled to release on July 22nd. The biggest preview we've gotten so far of cards from that set was the recent 4 page spread from V-Jump. (Which is also where we first saw these 2 cards.)

Taichi Black:
[at the start of your turn] if your memory is 2 or less, put it to 3
[opponent's turn] all of your Black Digimon gain +1000 DP

Yamato Purple:
[at the start of your turn] if your memory is 2 or less, put it to 3
[when played] put one Purple option card or Digimon card from your Trash to your hand

I understand that weregarurumon is Nso and Metalgreymon is ME, but this is kinda disapointing
I hope we start to see non adventure: characters soon
Maybe when Survive drops theyll add those kids

Nice effects!
Imagine having poweful blockers and then boosting their DP with Taichi.

Or losing your strongest purple card and just recycling them with Yamato.

They'll could add the Digimon Emperor as a Black card, assuming Kimeramon might show up.

If they use tamers from the games there certainly is a big pool

Or losing your strongest purple card and just recycling them with Yamato

so far we have Impmon that when destroyed discards three cards from the top of your own deck into the Trash and Piedmon who when played lets you also play 2 level 4 Digimon directly from your Trash onto the battlefield so we are seeing Purple showing early signs of filling up its own Trash on purpose
