Tactimon get some very regal and nicely colored artwork of him holding the Jatetsufujin-maru sword.

aw man, I love Tactimon!
He's digimon where when you first see him you just think he's a solid anime samurai design with nothing really remarkable about him but then the more you look into his powers and his personality, the more you want to see him in even more stories because it's all so interesting!

Its a shame his two effects are mutually exclusive unless Bagra Army has some ways to give digimon sources.

Being able to summon two free Champions is actually pretty crazy, I guess that's meant to reference it having Troopmon minions or something.

it's a pretty tactical combo card. You can do a lot of versatile things with either of its two abilities, so I think this Tactimon is going to give a lot of people fun with deck experimentation

Such beautiful card art. I wondered if it was the same artist who did GrandDracumon, and yes it is. They put a lot of attention on portraying texture and light to the digimon they draw.

Ever wonder who would win Jesmon vs Tactimon or Alphamon vs Tactimon.

Depends of which Tactimon we’re talking about, I guess. Anime Tactimon was decently strong but nothing incredible, while the manga’s incarnation was a real monster who apparently defeated 3 Royal Knights quite easily.

Hopefully future cards will show the Jatetsufujin-maru unsheathed. It'd be a shame if its true form stayed a manga exclusive thing.

It's not a form change, bagramon simply unsealed it which allows tactimon to unsheath his blade in manga.

His profile implies that he actually does not need approval from bagramon and that he can unsheath any time he wants.

We just need an official art with his blade unsheathed

This is probably meant more for this thread, but honestly, I wouldn't put it past them if they did establish Tactimon with unsheathed Jatetsufuujinmaru as a Mode Change. I mean, we have had similarly crazy things appear in Digimon media over the past few years (like MagnaGarurumon Detached and the Justimon Trinity Arms), and it kinda helps that Jatetsufuujinmaru seems to be a living organism all its own (its sheathed and unsheathed forms could more or less be the difference between Belphemon Sleep Mode and Belphemon Rage Mode). Though, I'd expect to see a lot of other Xros Wars content be included in the Reference Book before Tactimon+Jatetsufuujinmaru is even a passing thought.

True, except Jesmon is a new Royal Knight Tactimon never seen before and might not know what he's capable of, plus Jesmon got those trio to protect and help him.
