Another pseudo-Survive update.

The Australian Classification ratings board classified Survive in August, a month ago Brazil did the same, and last week Korea did also.

The world tour continues as we have ratings information from Taiwan.

It was rated "PG-12". This is the third rating on the scale in Taiwant after G (General Public, Everyone) and P (Protected, 6 and up). PG-12 is used for titles that are suitable for those 12 and older.

Basically it can have some suggestive themes. No bloody fights or over horrifying scenes. Speech can't be overly crude. etc.

They note Survive got PG-12 for it's level in 3 categories- Violence, Horror, Inappropriate language

The Taiwan rating also includes a section for release date. Survive has no current release date and gets a 'not approved' under that section. Not a shock since Bandai has confirmed the game is delayed until 2022.

Overall this lines up roughly with what we saw from previous countries.

Thanks to Gematsu for the heads up that it had been rated.

With all these ratings surely it should come in early 2022 and that's why they had to say it's delayed to 2022 since they don't have much time left in 2021 it'd be weird to get so many ratings otherwise. We still need Japan, Europe and North America though plz be soon theyre the big boys. Also interesting that none of them have PS5 or Xbox Series ratings. I mean it's unneeded when theyre backwards compat, it'd just seem like maybe porting to those systems could be useful

I don't see how porting them would be useful. This game looks like it can easily run on the switch, and because the PS5 and Xbox series are backwards compatible there's really no reason to make a version exclusive for them. I dare even say it would be a waste of time and money at this point

Getting closer to Japan inch by inch.

Hopefully not too close to Legends Arceus, or it could be Aplli Monsters 3DS again.

Although, Pokémon is an exclusive while Survive is multi-platform. Still, competing with Legends Arceus will be bad for Switch version sales.
