A pseudo-Survive update.

The Australian Classification ratings board classified Survive last month.

Today it was classified in Brazil by their classification organization.

It was rated "Not recommended for minors under twelve". The rating system in Brazil is a bit more detailed, as after 'L', their general rating, they rate for 'not recommended for people under' every even age between 10 and 18, which tells us the content wasn't enough to move it to 14.

In addition, they also publish an overview of their report with a bit more information on why it got the rating it did.

Rating Trends: (Each of these categories acts the same as the main rating, saying for that category where they recommend it not be for people under that age.)
Weapons- 10
Verbal Aggression- 12
Violent Acts- 12
Violent Descriptions- 12
Bodily Injury- 12
Language- 12
Nudity/Sexuality- 12
Blood- 12

They noted that weapons and violence are mitigated by the fantasy context.

They also add the following content descriptors for the game:
Violence
Inappropriate language

Additional info on the ratings overall, but not much overall in telling us when the game will be out, since we already knew Bandai was sending out the videos and other materials needed to rate the game.

Thanks to Gematsu for the heads up that it had been rated.

More and more countries getting the game rated is good. Survive releasing during Ghost Game is prob better than Adventure: too since they both use the same lore so to say with the whole Digimon are Ghosts thing.

This is great news. Australia was a sliver of hope. But now that it happened twice it really gives me confidence that production is finally going smoothly and they're gonna wrap things up soon-ish.

Minorly surprised Xbox Series and PS5 isn't added to the platforms but doesn't matter much when they're backwards compatible I suppose.

I have never noticed until now but Brazil's rating system is kinda all over the place. Like they gave an 'Everyone' rating for the individual versions of CS and HM while the complete edition was rated '14'. They also labeled those two first games as 'Fighting' games for some reason lol

Brazil's tax system treats video games as gambling, so take their rating system's definitions with a grain of salt.
