Super Complete Selection Digimon Adventure 02 D-3 Teaser- Pre-Orders on July 28th- Director Kakudou Gate Design Comments

A teaser went up a few places, showing off the familiar Digital Gate from Digimon Adventure 02.

It teases that on "July 28th, Friday, the Digital Gate Opens!", using the familiar imagery from the anime.

There is also a standby page on Premium Bandai.

While the assumption is it's the SCSA D-3 that had an early prototype shown off last year...
And that is what is is for, as the version of the teaser image on Premium Bandai actually has 'SCSA_D-3' as part of the file name.

So a week to go, and it'll be orderable right before DigiFes.


Director Kakudou posted about the Digital Gate appearance...

Digimon Adventure 02 takes place in 2002. The TV program started airing in 2000, so I designed this screen, expecting that MACOS would be refreshed in the near future, so I designed it while guessing what the screen would look like. I remember that I made it in a very short time.

It'll be cool to see what they include in these, I know with the tri. D-3 SCSAs, they only included Adult, Perfect, and Warp Evolution into Ultimate sounds, so I hope these will at least include the Armor and Jogress evolutions.

Personally though, I am waiting for a Complete Version of the D-3 V-Pet, since the 15th anniversary versions are so hard to come by. Plus, a Complete Version would likely include content from the upcoming movie.

I'd be down for a complete D-3. Really sad I missed the D-Ark and now they're so ridiculously overpriced.
