Yes. The current Xros Wars section would become far too ginormous compared to the other series sections. This are different enough for this to be given its own section, while having all the necessary notes being made in each subsection to let us know that this is the sequel to the previous series.
Among the biggest differences between this and the last series is the drastic change in music score. The title card, for example, has new music, whereas the Death Generals part of the first series kept the same title card music as the first 30 episodes of Xros Wars. It like how Adventure 02 had a new title card score from that of Adventure. If Death Generals had had more changes made to it to differentiate it better from episodes 1-30, I'd be more inclined to put them all under one "Xros Wars" umbrella term. But, the fact that Shonen Hunters made more drastic changes than Death Generals ever did, it's best to see it as its own entity and give it its own section.
