I actually need to ask, is there an example of a synopsis on your site that you view as "perfect"? Any kind of standard that you would like me to work towards? Any standards on tone? (professional, excited, sardonic, etc.)
Or do you just want me to write what I am wont to write?
[/quote]

Hm, well one of the ones i've done can be found here. If you can do roughly the same that would be great.

Have any of you made a start on what's needed at all?

I've been trying to read through them and figure out what's going on, but honestly, what with work and family I'm still on chapter seven. I really apologize for the wait, and I'll see if I can stay up late to do it tonight.

Again, really really sorry about the wait.

Vande I need to work on my writing for University and what not, I'd be happy to do some more character biographies for you? Especially now the first season is over, I can write up their amazing journey of character development.

I think every single bio needs updating/new bios creating. That would be a massive help.

I'll see what I can do for you :)
I can't promise regular updates, but any I do give you will be of the highest quality I can provide.

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

I've been rewatching Xros Wars and analysing the current style to try to match it. I must keep consistency, that's what I think ^^

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

Starlight is now on permanent Hiatus as of today, except for the V-Jump scans that I post. The help hasn't come through as I had hoped. It was a last ditch attempt, but there is way too much stuff backlogued now to clear.

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

If you are still posting scans, the site can't possibly be on "hiatus" as it is still being updated in some way. Come on noe. A lot of this you can do yourself. You've watched Xros wars. If you rewatch An Ep one week and wrote the summary the next you would have progress made. I know you have the time, it'd just a matter of finding the right mindset to do it. But don't just give up because other people won't do it For you!

...wow.

Here's an example: I'm the chief editor at the Digimon Wiki, which is literally as open to public contribution as a fansite can be. We still have a massive backlog of Xros Wars manga and anime info because nobody has the time to do it. Hell, on a personal note, I still have two boxes of figures to put away from when I moved into my new apartment four months ago, and don't get me started on something as minor as downloading characters for Dissidia.

Queen, most people have real lives. A lot of this stuff has to be put on the backburner indefinitely because we don't have the time to do it.

Vande: I'm really, really sorry that it's been taking this long to get the summaries done, I've honestly not had time to do much but work, sleep, and get minor stuff done on the wiki. I'll keep trying to find time to do it, but at this point it might be worth seeing if someone college-age might have more time to do it quicker.

Does that mean you won't be touching non-scan stuff at all, or would you still be willing to add any summaries that people send you?

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

Kryten, Ice actually knows my situation waaaay better than most on this site, and in effect she is right. I perfer to do other stuff than site work. I could do them, but I really don't care over Xros enough to push myself to re-watch the episodes. The manga is better and I can't even bring myself to write the summaries.

That's exactly what it means. If anyone does send summaries, i would likely add them. But my own input to the site is done.

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

I was trying to be motivational. Guess that didnt work. XD

Trust me, I know folks have lives. :p I myself have full time college courses and a part time job and barely have time for my own site!

I'm just saying a little hatred for work shouldn't get in the way of a long standing and well loved site~

So yeah, I'm still standing by my suggestion. As I said, I know you have the time, and it's a shame to see the site slow down just because you're being a little bitter over the material ^^'

Re: Digital Starlight - Hiatus

Well despite my feeling about Xros, work is going to re-commence on the site. Anyone who can help out with what was promised, I look forward to seeing it. Although I do understand if you don't want to anymore (aka I was a bitch), so you have my apologies there.

I'm going to aim to finish the Xros Analyser tomorrow.

I keep saying this, but I'm really sorry I haven't had time to do this yet. I had promised TMS some profile translations which are way behind, and I'm just now getting close to done with them. I'm going to make every effort to get the manga summaries up this week.

Re: Digital Starlight - WIP.

Kryten, It's fine. I'm going to do the manga summaries. I know you're busy with everything and I'm not going to overburden you with that work.

Holy, Geriand you are a little god sir. (has been sent profiles for Yuu, Taiki and Tagiru for YH) *without asking!!!*

Thanks Ice~
