Shoutmon Preview for Booster Set 5

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega. This time we get Shoutmon.

Shoutmon gets a really nice shot with him appearing in front of a bunch of speakers with his microphone weapon. He's got a nice rock and roll type pose going on where he appears to be gesturing to an unseen audience (although at least one cord appears to be unplugged, so...)



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 5 Battle of Omega is scheduled to release on February 26th.

Really cool art. And huh I'm not used to seeing the mic from that angle. Made me realise/remember that the mic becomes his head in fusions.

Now to hope the King version is included. That's what I want most from this set.

Ayy, it's ya boi Shoutmon.

Pretty standard effect, interestingly it targets ZekeGreymon too so they're really prepping you to get to DX. As for Shoutmon King, I think he's practically a given since this card's effect wouldn't be as good without as many Shoutmons as possible.

Shoutmon being an excavator for other Shoutmons and anything with Blitz interests me simply because there's a metric ton of Shoutmon variants out there and Blitz is a keyword, so I'm curious as to how well this'll age as more cards get printed that this can add. Personally hope we get X3/X4 over Shoutmon King as far as the Lv4 for the deck goes, since I tend to associate Xros Wars with the X3 and above designs, plus I just feel it'd be appropriate to have them in this set given it's already Omegamon-themed.
