ShineGreymon: Ruin Mode Preview for Booster Set EX-04

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-04 Alternative Being. This time it's ShineGreymon: Ruin Mode.

ShineGreymon: Ruin Mode features menacing looking art of the dark evolution. It makes him look evily by hunching him over a bit, keeping the very dark look to his eyes, and having the art be very close up, letting him look even larger.

It's not the best effect but the fact it kills itself to summon an egg is full on reference. Then again the recovery makes it a lot better so it's passable.

I'm mostly happy it's lv7. Was worried the BM would be lv6.

Ruin Mode DID come before any Burst Mode in the anime so it makes sense, I suppose

After years of being forgotten in video games (except mobiles), Ruin Mode finally outdebutted Burst Modes here lol. This is the first time i see Ruin Mode's eyes, and it's dark blue.

Called it. We won't get Itto Mode here and I'm happy for that. ReArise deserves one full set for them to appear together. That game is historical.

Now that we have Ruin Mode, we will get the Burst Mode in BT13, as announced. And not far from that, we will get a ReArise based set because it's been teased in this set's Gaioumon card. I've been waiting to see a set with ReArise reference. We feast wonderful sets ahead.
