Magic Knight basically confirms it's from witch. A knight that uses magic is pretty cool. Better than him just whacking things with his staff.

Beast Knight types are my most favorites. Sleipmon, Examon, and Duftmon look like they are the ones. And Dynasmon may look like it's Magic Knight Type(And Alphamon). Maybe include Magnamon?

But the strangest thing is, MedievalDukemon's Type is just "Warrior"...

This seems to be the first Magic Knight-type Digimon at least, which is a pretty cool type. Would be nice if we got more soon enough, hopefully related to Witchelny stuff.
you have Medieval Dukemon to add to magical Witchelny knights. They seem very likely to cross paths. I wonder if it'd be friendly or violent?
edit: From Medieval Dukemon's profile it says: "It battles using armor made by Sorcery, it holds the alias of "Whirlwind General" due to it governing the Digimon known as the 'Vortex Warriors', who, among all the magical systems of Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind, battle using weapons made by Wind Sorcery"
HexeBlaumon has armor that can be interpreted as made by sorcery, has a spear that gives a flag illusion due to the mist which can be interpreted as "wind sorcery", and is very adept to the high level programming for the water system as it manipulates ice. It's very loose and debatable but HexeBlaumon could totally be a Vortex Warrior

That'd be really cool but then you realize we also have the Olympos and they already get forgotten about and never clash paths with the RK because they're not the RKs.

Vortex Warriors being Witchelny's RKs would be neat but I feel that like Olympos, they'd just get forgotten after for not being dragon people.

Pretty sure producer Habu has expressed interest in using the Olympos XII more, we’ll see how that materializes. Digimon is more lucrative now than it has been in a long time I’d say, so it makes sense to try different things. Unlike when the last members of the OXII were getting revealed, something like HexeBlaumon actually has a chance of catching on now. It all comes down to the marketing.

Edit: don’t want to make so many individual posts, so going to keep things concise and in this post.

WarGreymon and Grademon are also Warrior-type Digimon, so if MedievalDukemon has some sort of evolution, it could make that a pattern lol. After all, Paladin Mode suddenly became an Ancient Holy Knight too.

And about the ice element potentially being a combination of wind and water magic, that’d be really cool. If MDukemon is like the wind specialist, then we could see the other Vortex Warriors being dual attribute users, too.

At long last, a ‘non-canonical’ fan favourite from another Asian country receives official recognition in Japan:

Dukemon Chaos Mode.
When did it get mentioned in Japan? or are you asking them too?

German is used in Digimon a lot and he's from a chinese mobile game not this vpet

He's not really confirmed as being from Witchelny yet. All his former evolutions are from the Digital World and some Digital World Digimon do practice magic. Like Piccolomon (who is implied to be using Witchelny magic) and Alphamon (whose profile just mentions magic circles and summoning a monster from another dimension with them...not sure if its a Witchelny implication?).

Saying he's a Vortex Warrior is honestly kind of absurd. It's literally ice magic not wind because his profile says so. I don't know what else to say.

Incidentally Sorcerymon is from Witchelny has ice and light magic so despite not being part of the original 4 elemental tribes. Which is part of why i like Hexablaumon so much.

Wait his a magic knight, that makes me love him even more as I love my magic knights in rpgs *.*
Same here. I love Magic Knights in mecha anime/games too, like Rayearth and Cybusters

Didn't know some likes Magic Knights. Shame Bat Kamen Rider and Magic Super Sentai weren't loved very so much I heard...

I sure hope Vortex Warrior and Magic Knight Types don't introduce that... Dragonic Warriors that much.

So looking again, Hexe and Blau are German words. Mt. Brocken is a German mountain, but is also a magic school in Witchelny; I guess there might be some German crossover, although it could just be a coincidence. High-level programming (referring to ice sorcery) is the same terminology to reference the magic used by Digimon from Witchelny. HexeBlaumon is also coming out in the same v-pet as Wizarmon X and Angewomon X. It’s also alongside greater focus on the X-antibody again, much like MedievalDukemon and the introduction of the Vortex Warriors group. Are Magic Knights the Witchelny equivalent to Holy Knights?
From looking at Hexeblaumon's Reference Book profile... you nailed this one on the head!

Turns out he was a magical knight with connections to Witchelny after all. This makes me excited basically anytime they mention that works, and hopefully means they'll refer to it more in future too.
