Just thought I'd remind all of you in the UK...

Digimon Season 2 (Zero-Two) is out on DVD in the UK tomorrow via Manga UK

Taking it as season 2 of Adventure, this means after many times of Adventure stopping partway through, the UK will finally have the first 2 seasons on DVD properly (I want to say there was almost a half dozen cancelled releases over the years in the UK)

Here's a link to Amazon UK if you want to pre-order it at the last minute, although many local DVD stores that stock anime should have it. This isn't an affiliate link.

Manga UK recently released Season 1 on DVD, and will be releasing part 1 of tri. on Blu-ray and DVD in the spring.

So glad the UK have finally managed to get the DVDs out.

I used to record episodes to VHS because there wasn't much you could buy.
On VHS I think they released up to Etemon's introduction in season 1, then they skipped to the first few episodes of 02... then with Tamers I think they released the first few episodes and then skipped to the first few deva episodes of the deva arc. I'm not sure if they ever released Frontier.

Then the DVDs were 10 times worse. I got the first volume which I think went up to Kabuterimon's debut. Then God knows how long after that they released another 3 or 4 episodes. I'm not sure they ever even made it beyond the Devimon arc. Random as the VHS releases could be, they were at least fairly regular.

I did the same with VHS, but had all of Season 1 and Season 2 at some point.

The official VHS releases were somewhat random. Frontier was never released and the DVDs as you said were sporadic. I picked my Season 2 copy up yesterday after work from HMV. £29.99.

I used to record them on VHS as well; in fact I still have one of late season 1. I lost most of them though.

I agree that the old releases were very infrequent. I never came across a VHS or DVD that you could buy that went past the first few episodes of 02.

I'm so glad that I can finally own them after all these years.
