Rostrum & Dagomon Previews for Booster Set EX-05

The Digimon Card Game Twitter (2) has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-05 Animal Colosseum. This time it's Rostrum & Dagomon.

Option Card Rostrum we got a preview of during the most recent episode of Card Battle, this is just a nicer preview, but with 'Sample' text. Dagomonfeature ssome very nicelyt detailed art of it destroying a ship. There is also some nice water effecsts throughout the image.

[All Turns] (Once Per Turn) When an opponent's Digimon is played by an effect, you may play 1 purple Digimon with a level less than or equal to that Digimon from your trash without paying its memory cost.

Come to think of it, I never question about Dagomon's "wings" because I simply viewed it as some kind of wicked fish gills inside out. But to think it does resembles of the octopus tentacles...

Damn no wonder MarineDevimon got Gesomon/Squid tentacles and Dagomon got Octomon/Octopus tentacles on their backs serving as "wings" like Angemon and Devimon's wings.

With the normal artstyle like that, Dagomon's "wings" didn't look very octopus-ish to me. Because of that original artstyle, I never believe Dagomon is Octomon's Perfect form evo line.

Now it is really clear. Their tentacle wings are really standing out compared to their blue colored skins.

Oh yeah Leviamon's Rostrum art gives off how gigantic Leviamon is. Seriously those artists sure know how to draw him in gigantic size yet managed to fit into the cards just fine.

So Octomon's line seems complete. Not sure what Marine Devimon's child form is. Wonder if both become Leviamon. Or does Marine Devimon become the punk puffer fish?

Dagomon yanking cards out of the opponent trash and playing them is the most unique purple mechanic ever. Not sure how to feel about the All Turns ability since it might interfere with Leviamon's strategy but it does seem powerful otherwise.

I'm very interested in the fact that cards played to your side with Dagomon's [All Turns] effect can have their [On Play] effects activate and the fact that it can get you any level as well as long as it matches the opponent. I'm thinking of how that evens your odds against the Sovereign deck in this same set or any deck that lets your opponent play digimon through effects, which is a lot of decks!

Lucemon Falldown Mode might be a good one off tech in against the Sovereign deck. It can blow up a Sovereign Ace and activate Overflow with ease.
