8/10 - AncientIrismon / AncientKazemon ends up adding a bit of a surprising Greek influence to the Warriors 10 (though also looks like her design took some inspiration from portrayals of Egyptian deities as well). Her design combines human and beast traits fairly nicely, so it's actually believable to be ancestral to both the bird / bird-man group of types as well as the fairy type. I should probably subtract a point because she keeps forgetting to wear pants to work (must have been in quarantine for the Plague of Athens). But I'll recover it due to the existence of the Iris lorikeet (
Psitteuteles iris) and Rainbow pitta (
Pitta iris), which are named after Iris and could give an added connection to birds that Iris, herself, doesn't seem to have.
Next up: Strabimon. (Wow, I feel old that I still remember when fans were trying to call him "Lebemon"…)

Some comments:
10/10 much better presentation of prehistoric reptiles than Tyrannomon or Birdramon(yes, birds are technically reptiles)
Birds are technically birds...
Some yes and no here. Birds are technically members of Dinosauria. In terms of cladistics, that means that yes, birds are members of Reptilia as well. However, taxonomy focusing on modern organism tends to use less of a lineage treatment here. It would be accurate to state that extant reptiles (class Reptilia) are
paraphyletic with respect to birds (class Aves) - in other words, Reptilia as a taxon is evolutionarily incomplete due to not including descendants from the same group. It's one of the wonderful conversations in taxonomy and really represents an area that needs to be refined.
I'm not even sure who this is! I guess that makes me the fool.
It appears to be fan art of Neo Crimson from Digimon World 2.
Yup, definitely Neo Crimson fanart. Also pretty dang good. He tends to be fairly easily forgotten as well.
