Griffomon is good too. Dianamon fits the (somewhat unintentional) olympian god theme but Griffomon is a more straightfoward jogress much the same way Silphymon is in comparison to Paildramon and Shakkoumon

I saw the art from @9b3xMKddvuq9qco (Twitter). There I saw Armadimon Tortomon Toropiamon BloomLordmon Hydramon in one picture. And it looks very suitable for Armadimon evolution.

I think Toropiamon to be the best bridge between Tortomon and Xuanwumon too.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of Armadimon because I'm the type who likes digimon like Impmon and Patamon. But the more I see Armadimon can be matched with many digimon such as reptiles, crocodiles, mammals, water digimon.

It's really sad how Shakkoumon is like a potential barrier to Armadimon's evolution.

I don't know what defines "warrior" here but if we look for a digimon that doesn't look bestial, is less monstrous and bipedal, then we have HerakleKabuterimon X for Tentomon.

There's TigerVespamon, BanchoStingmon, Shivamon, HerakleKabuterimon X, (arguably) AncientBeatmon, and finally GrandisKuwagamon. The latter of which is explicitly stated to be the insect equivalent to BlackWarGreymon.

If you want some warrior types then why list Seraphimon and Ofanimon when SlashAngemon and LovelyAngemon are perfect for Warrior types?

If you can pretend Tentomon's Ultimate level Warrior type digimon for AncientBeetmon as BeeTrooper of Yugioh then that's better!

BanchoStingmon then.

It is not a cyborg like BlitzGreymon, or TigerVespamon which is a Cyborg type digimon.
It also dressed in armor like WarGreymon and not in a full body armor fashion.
It is less monstrous than Vikemon, and has weapons.
Even if we compared BanchoStingmon to Valkrymon and Vikemon, they have the same level of armor. They don't have heavy armors like WarGreymon or CresGarurumon.

So yeah, it's BanchoStingmon.

In addition, if we make it specifically for Tentomon, then they are perfect. Tentomon and BanchoStingmon have resemblance to each other. Both are red and have green eyes.

Hi I've been watching this chat thing for awhile now and i wanted help. One of my favourite rookies is goblimon but i really dont like ogremon so ive been using vilemon though i like the fit for goblimon i dont like it for the line.

Goblimon-> vilemon-> rebellimon-> Boltmon

If anybody can think of a replacement that would be cool. I would post picture of it and other lines i made but i cant figure out how to put pictures on here so sorry about that.

I mentioned this in the design inspiration thread, but there is a possibility Patamon might be partially inspired by the eohippus, a type of proto-horse.

A friend told me once about this animal, and it could explain why so many of Patamon evolutions - since it's debut - have been hooved mammals!

It is legitimately scary how well Shoutmon X5B works here since it was obviously not designed with the idea of it being a Digivolution for Digimon outside of the Shoutmon mech series in mind.
