The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set EX-03 Dragon's Roar. This time it's Qinglongmon.

Qinglongmon has some interesting art that almost feels like a flattening of style on some of it, creating an interesting textured look.

Quinglongmon seems to get the most love out of the FHB, considering he has 3 cards now while the others still have only one each.

Probably because he was a protag in 2 animes.

also because it's a member of 2 groups with the 4 great dragons one being part of the theme in this set

With how much this card is tied to a support card I think they should've shown us that card too so we can know how good this card is as it's hard to judge it right now

This card got me pondering a bit and just a thought: Wouldn't Azulongmon be a pretty good solo mega for Veemon? You know when he doesn't jogress to Paildramon/Imperialdramon or doesn't become Veedramon. Could serve as a natural mega to ExVeemon with a tie-in ultimate (maybe Manticoremon or something new).

Well, obviously Azulongmon also has a strong likeness to Raidramon and technically the evolution line "Flamedramon -> Majiramon -> Azulongmon" dates back to the early 2000s.

I also know Triceramon canonically evolved to Azulongmon in the anime, but that never sat right with me, besides it felt like any dragonic digimon could become Azulongmon with that power up and all the harmonious ones ultimates have more fitting alternative megas lying around.

One card for the Holy Beasts megacycle, one card to make the fans of the old card game happy, and this card is for the set with all of the Four Dragons.

Qinglongmon has the longest history of the Holy Beasts and is tied into other groups, so of course it gets more. Being Seiryu doesn't hurt because the Japanese really fucking love them over the other Four Symbols, which is no shock when you remember that it's the one that best represents Japan.

Japan really loves the dragons so much. BUt that is some good artwork. Surprised it's not usual artists often to draw.

Gossan's art style does not work for chains. They look really bad.

Azulongmon
[When Played] <Draw 2>. If this Digimon was played by the effect of [Trial of the Four Great Dragons], gain 2 memory.
[When Deleted] If you don't have [Trial of the Four Great Dragons] in play, you may play 1 [Trial of the Four Great Dragons] from your hand to your battle area without paying its memory cost.
