Proximamon Parallel Preview for Booster Set RB-01

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set RB-01 Rising Wind. This time it's Proximamon.

This time we get to see a parallel card. Proximamon gives us a front look at the new Digimon, with various bits lighting up, and in white light above we can see Siriusmon and Arcturusmon. At first glance it appears it might be doing Light of Recreation, but that uses the axe, which isn't where the light is from, rather appearing to be thematic to evolution instead.

Ohh Proximamon's body is really more of AncientBeetmon's and so much less Gulfmon. Because he have... Short legs. lol

And it's nice to see Siriusmon and Arcturusmon to compare the difference of theirs in that card.

And I finally understood why I'm slightly bothered on this Proximamon's bottom body. It's because it freaking got Shoutmon eye designs. Damn!

Diarbbitmon has the rage side that can be invoked and maybe Amphimon has something up her sleeve as well, to battle Proximamon at the end.

It's reference book bio literally is all about how it simply existing is a threat to existence, I think there's at least a 1% chance.

I love that design so much. Every piece of artwork reinforce the feeling of all powerfulness of that beautiful monster. Proximamon might be one of my favorite digi design ever.

Doubtful. Gulus alone is already strong enough to trivialy obliterate Perfect levels to the point he might be low mega level, Regulusmon is a Megidramon level threat, Acturusmon alone probably requires top tier mega if not ultra. Proximamon will be even stronger. Unless Diarbbitmon and Amphimon manage to jogress and then get a power boost they ain't beating Proximamon.

I don't believe Proximamon is the final boss. Not only is it something we've never seen in the anime series, this evolution requires the good and the "bad" sides of Gammamon to come together. It'd be strange if such a merge would end up an enemy.

Or he isn't defeated by combat, which would fit the way the series is heading in that direction anyway.

Or he jobs. Always possible. Milleniummon does it every time he shows up.

It can, considering the many dark digimons and Lilithmon. And I doubt there will be a repeat of Abaddomon as the final enemy.

Honestly I would also be happy if Proximamon would be needed to take on big problems even without big boss enemies.

Honestly I am convinced by looking at this card that hoverepsimon and zanmetsumon at least have some kind of an effect on how this digimon comes to life. It says it has it's evolution method secret and hidden away and it's clearly complicated, so I'm curious if whoever is sending digimon into the human world in ghost game actually knows the secret method and that is their plan, so they can rewrite the world with it basically.

The axe reminds me of a the ryudamon line and the bottom part is like zanmetsumon's base, and it's all metallic overall like hoverespimon.

I just thought they give Abaddomon another chance at an anime like Eyesmon and Rarararemon since it feels wasted in Adventure: because nobody like the reboot.
