Price and Early Pre-Order Details for Digivolving Spirits Alphamon

Release updates for Digivolving Spirits are always fun.



From an early V-Jump image we have a few release details for the upcoming Digivolving Spirits Alphamon figure.


Pre-orders for Digivolving Spirits #05 Alphamon will open in early March and he will cost 8,500 yen (this appears to be without tax, so a touch above Diablomon.)

The figure will be released in July.


No mention of the Ouryumon figure we saw last year that can turn into the Ouryuken for Alphamon.


Looking at the image above, which shows Alphamon in the midst of transforming between forms makes me wonder how complicated this figure will be...

Probably Tentomon or Dukemon, given that they've shown prototypes of both.

I have the really nice alphamon figure but my wife loves dorumon so I'm going to get this for her and hopefully transformation won't be a total pain XD

Oh man, for a second I thought this was a new one that was Dorumon -> Death-X-mon. That mid-transformation picture looks a lot like it at a glance!

Looking very nice. I just got my MetalGarurumon figure in over the weekend; I think I like it a little better in terms of "transformability", since it felt more fluid, but the resulting Gabumon isn't quite as nice as Agumon.

Hoping Ouryumon isn't some sort of web-exclusive... but it explains Alphamon's price.
