Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!

Yeah, but what's weird is that when I caught a Meltan, it changed back into a Ditto, so I have absolutely no idea how transferring Meltan between Go and Let's Go is gonna work. I also sincerely hope that the 'new' 'Mon they were talking about, that you would receive as a gift from Let's Go isn't Meltan, but either Gorochu (if you get LGP) or a new Eeveelution (if you get LGE).

This is really just a teaser for Meltan via Pokémon GO. Meltan proper has not been added into the game and is not capturable. These are all Ditto at present who had encountered Meltan and transformed into it. As a Mythical Pokémon, it's quite likely that it won't actually be acquirable apart from a new Special Research set given by Professor Willow.

I assume that the whole "No Partner Evolution" is an allusion to Pokémon Yellow which you couldn't evolve your Starter Pikachu as it was based on the anime which Ash's Pikachu never evolves.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can get more of your starter though. So you can have 4 Eevees or 2 Pikachus.

I love this catching of "a lot" of a Mythical Pokémon. Just admit it, Professor Willow, those are mostly just Dittos and not real Meltan.

"Professor WILLOW!" — well, it looks like we need a new professor of the GO region. Where do I send my application? … Oh, he's still alive. Uh, well, I already have my CV out.

"It's just as described in the text!" — where are the professors encountering these insanely obscure documents, and why haven't they appropriately collaborated beforehand? Also, Professor Oak is definitely just re-publishing that obscure and archaic paper as his own, isn't he?

I may need to consider checking out the Switch game for the Pokémon GO connection here. Well, unless I can trade with a friend's game.

It is cute and a good way to get GO only players into Pokemon but I swear if Gen 8 is as empty as it I'll rage.
