Pistmon Preview for Booster Set 8

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 8 New Hero. This time it's Pistmon.

For this card, Pistmon doesn't appear to be doing any specific attack, just looking cool. It appears he might have skidded to a stop.

A nice followup to some Pulsemon family card previews we just got.

Yeah agreed. Now it is clearly Pistmon have bug body... And it turned out as he didn't have white hair but it's some kind of white cloth.

Look at that art makes me feel like Pistmon is mixed with plant and bug... It made me like him even more.

Some Digimon have designs where you take one look at their body and realize their lives must be a living hell because of the logistics of their existence. Pistmon easily falls into this category.

After yellow and green, Pulsemon might get black or purple later for Shroudmon.

Pistmon is a plant I suppose, hopefully they also include Exermon too. Pistmon to Climbmon works wit Bug/Plant being the same thing in Digimon most of the time but it would be silly

edit: completely brain farted on the face he's an ultimate, well then Exermon > Pistmon is the part where i'd say that. I just really wanna see Exermon > Climbmon, but I guess maybe itll be Exermon > Pistmon.

Yesterday I made the suggestion they might do green Pulsemon in the way they do armor evolutions (with several Lv. 4 options), looking at the card list it doesn't seem there's room for it and Pulsemon might just get a new singular line in this set.

We have 3/6 Lv.4's revealed: Shurimon, Digmon & Raidramon, 2 of the remaining ones are very heavily suggested to turn out to be:
-Exermon (seems like the logical link between Pulsemon & Pistmon)
-Gargomon (Terriermon is revealed to be in the set and has a search effect for Gargomon and Rapidmon)

There's only room for 3 more ultimate and mega Digimon, which have Green as a primary color, as BlackAgumon already come in at 058. Perhaps the ultimates and megas will be:

054 - Pistmon
055 - Rapidmon
056 - Shivamon
057 - MegaGargomon

Though I have my doubts they'll do Terriermon's ultimate and mega in this set, as it's based on 02, so my guess is, they might just do Gargomon and Rapidmon (Armor). Rapidmon (Armor) - by the pattern how armor digimon work in this set will probably be a yellow/green card and be therefore placed among yellow cards instead.

I still think that runnermon will be the green pre-evo. Anyway I really like the setting of the art, not shure about Pistmon's pose.
The ability is ok, it's just nice to see more digisorption support

Ah, so it ended up being Pistmon. That Download Skill is great as you want your other Digimon Resting anyways to get the most out of the Inherited Skill in this Line and it gets you to LV5 for much cheaper.

It just hit me. What if Pistmon may be Plant digimon but the reason his bottom body is very bug-like because he could be fungi infected insect digimon? You know, some bugs who were infected with fungi tend to have nasty and creepy white stuffs sticking out of their cracked bodies? Well basically similar to that mushroom parasite crab pokemon yeah. Not all plant bodies tend to have many lines on their bottom parts like insect's abdomen and... Breathing holes? So yeah?
