Piranimon & Sangloupmon Preview for Booster Set 9

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 9 X Record. This time it's Piranimon & Sangloupmon.

Piranimon is another card in the set to have some really nice underwater art, showing a few Piranimon, likely about to eat something. Sangloupmon has some classy artwork of him with the sunlight wafting in, and the overall look of the art gives the general appearance that he's just decided to dress up like a bat...

Sangloupmon is so freaking cool and fun that it's kind of a shame that all of his related Digimon are goofy as heck - undead Impmon with eyes on hands, a matador covered in knives, and most disappointingly a knock-off Gulfmon.

For some reason, SangLoupmon can only evolve from other purple lvl 4s?
either there's some odd lore reason behind this or there was a misprint, cuz that doesn't seem right

I didn't even notice and was confused with your post. Yeah, that for sure has to be a misprint. If they never notice and never errata it we'll sure have a weird card lol. also more consistency with this Digimon not being an X form. (speaking of, I guess Piranimon gains it when it evolves to MetalPiranimon so is one of the few that gets to gain a level about gaining the X-Antibody).

Metal Piranimon will have something to do with that <rush> probably

If you see xros wars hunters, there a partner with psychemon and dracumon. Dracumon evolve into Yashamon.
I don't know why, i just have feeling, IF they complete their evolution, it like they tried to connect Dracumon to Piemon. And they give Sangloupmon as evolution between Psychemon and Astamon then turn into GranDracmon.

I think it more fit their personality if they swap the evolution like that.

You're right but there are FrosVelgrmon and Velgrmon.
It seems the theme of Psychemon(XWH) evo is beast+demon, Sangloupmon&GranDracmon fit in criteria.
They choose Yashamon for Dracmon(XWH) and GranDracmon will out of criteria since the theme are puppet+demon+weapon.

Is it alright for Sangloupmon to bathe in sunlight?! But I didn't expect Sangloupmon "living" in this rich room. Matadormon could fit in there.
