The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's Palmon & Poison Powder.

Palmon continues showing us various Digimon working on the farm. A few nices otuches on this one, such as the Tanemon on the water can. Poison Powder has some nice animeish art featuring a move not generally associated with Palmon.

So a new Ice Wall. That's a bit weird when the old one was limited

When you would play this card, if you have a green Tamer, reduce the memory cost of this card by 1.
[Main] All of your opponent's Digimon gain "[All Turns] When this Digimon is suspended, lose 1 memory." until your opponent's turn ends.
[Security] Activate this card's [Main] effect.

Aww that is so lovely. I like that Palmon card. Still, the other Palmon card with the most prettiest artwork which Palmon happily swing her arms freely in the whole field of flowers is my fav.

2 memory is a lot more than 1 memory, in fact it's twice as much. Ice Wall could lock someone out of the game and force them to have one attack at most - in theory, this card can't stop an opponent from getting off at least two attacks.

The difference between 2 and 1 memory is enormous. Incidentally, that is the difference between the cost of this option if you meet the requirement and the cost of Icewall. Icewall would often force people to not merely have a single attack, but depending on the gamestate choose between attacking at all or developing anything. The power level of their security effects also has a gap in the context of Blue decks running not just Icewall, but Hammer Spark. You just had way fewer actions against those lists when any attack and security flip could end your turn. This may deter further attacks, but if they're killing you then who cares if they're paying one for the next swing?

I actually like this option a lot for Bloomlordmon and Hydramon decks because of its [All Turns] tag, but I have to agree with you. They're nearly incomparable in terms of strength and flexibility. This may be a role player in certain green decks. Icewall was ubiquitous and frustrating.
