The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 9 X Record. This time it's Pagumon & Dinorexmon.

Pagumon gets some art that follows up on events we saw in another card in this set. Dinorexmon features him in a pose that feels very familiar for Digimon and has some nice fireball ffects.

Dino...Rexmon
Well, cool, but this means no more space for Dinotigermon, it's a pity.
Not shure I understand this choice

Edit: Just kidding, I assumed this was a Green-Red card, but it's actually a Red-Green one, so there's still one free slot for a Green ultimate

Not all the cards in a set are part of an implied line, especially when their Colors don't fully match (i.e. dual Green/Red). Even Bakumon, while not dual Colors itself like the rest of its line, has dual Evolution Colors and an effect that support dual Colors.

Based on the layout of the set, Dinorexmon is meant to be Red's parallel to all of the other Lv.6 dual Colors (Fuujinmon, Suijinmon, etc.). While Gaioumon is also dual Red, its primary Color is Black.

I'm actually a fan of DinoRexmon, he's fairly underrated. Interestingly enough, he can work off of two evolution-cheat systems, by using the usual MameTyranomon/IzzyMimi/Jagamon evolution system, or by using the X Anti-Body card. They really designed him to be hard to evolve normally but easier to evolve when using gimmicks.

both these cards are great. I love DinoRexmon, and I'm hoping to one day have a DinoRexmon that counts as a Tyrannomon

Pagumon
[Inherited Effect]: [When Attacking] By trashing 1 card from your hand, this Digimon gets +1000 DP for this turn.

Dinorexmon
[When Digivolved] For each of your opponent's Tamers, suspend 1 of your opponent's Digimon and gain 1 memory.
[Both Turns] (Once Per Turn) When your opponent's Digimon with 6000 DP or less is suspended, you may delete that Digimon.
