Our Digimon Christmas Carol Digital Album Announced for November 25th

It's been announced we are getting a Digimon Christmas Album this year!


Our Digimon Christmas Carol will be a digital album released on November 25th on iTunes, Amazon Music, Play Music, mora, and Recochoku in Japan. It will be 1,364 yen.

The cover art is new Christmas themed artwork of the leads and their Digimon from Adventure, 02, Tamers, and Frontier.


The album will consist of 6 tracks, 5 of which are from the old Digimon Christmas albums (which were just reprinted.)

The tracklist is:
Utao Bokura no Merry Christmas by Wada Kouji
Tenshi no Inori by AiM
Christmas Night by Wada Kouji
Believe by AiM
Minna no Christmas by Wada Kouji
Wrap Your Feelings by Ayumi Miyazaki



Wrap Your Feelings by Ayumi Miyazaki is the new song for the release, hopefully we get a preview of it soon.

The Good: Amazing cover art. The wrapping paper for the kids' presents is a nice touch.

The Better: Ayumi Miyazaki getting to contribute his own song after being left out from the past three Christmas albums.

The Bad: Digital-only. I believe this is the first Digimon song exclusive to digital platforms, and I'm hoping this doesn't start a trend.

Well, the franchise stopped doing these types of music albums after Frontier. Like, Savers and XW don't even have CD dramas. I legit wonder if a future anniversary Blu-ray Box for any of those would even have a limited edition CD drama.

This album artwork is brand new.

And as G-SANtos said, the reason why only Adventure 02, Tamers, and Frontier are represented on the cover is because those are the only series that received Christmas albums. (Of course, I'd love for that to change!)

Christmas albums huh. Hope they release the next Christmas art with all seasons. Hmm let's add that Adventure 2020, too.

At least the art is fun. They didn't do much for anything past Frontier. Which is a bit sad.
