Now that's an interesting idea, and it's probably been done before, but using the typical Armor trait of evolving from X separately from the normal evolution cost to specify a range of Digimon rather than a specific Digimon is neat.

Mind you, this does make it literally impossible to evolve the thing from Tailmon until/if we get the fabled Level 3 Tailmon, a noticeably annoying thing to be true of its first card in the TCG, but still.

at the moment it's the Hunters characters' gimmick in this set as even Betsumon has the "Digivolve from <Save>" effect.
Hopefully a future Opposumon will be able to evolve from Gatomon

I'm so glad they gave a pause on the protagonist reveals, I was worried they were gonna go through them all at once. x_x

The art is neat, and I see they are giving the option of using any of the rival hunter's trio tamers in it's effect, which makes sense, since if it was only Airu it would limit a lot the options for using the card. They will probably work as a single deck with it's own strategy to differentiate from Tagiru's group.

About the Armor evolution not being possible by Tailmon, it seems they have two types of Armors in mind when creating them (at least based on what they did in BT 8):

Armors who are supposed to be Digimental evolutions from the anime, and thus get a special clause allowing any 02 partner digimon to evolve into it; and generic Armors who follow the regular evolution rules of the game.

So is possible we might get a <Evolve: (X) if name contains [Tailmon]> Opossumon in the future. Or maybe a Hikari that allows any [Tailmon] digimon in the field to evolve into a Free Level 4 digimon.

I know, but using it specifically for an Armor is interesting, because it's been noted canon in various media that most armors should have a number of things that can turn into them, so saying "well this Digimon is the Armor Evolution using the Digimental of (we'll say Kindness here because it's Opossumon) for Digimon withthis trait," implying that Digimon with other traits would turn into other things. And locking it to traits like abilities also means that you could have members of one species that can armor evolve a specific way and other members of the species that can't based on personality and what they are as Digimon, which feels right to me since we're talking about armor that's based on personality traits.

I think giving any level 3 with save the ability to have that much armor support might be a bit more powerful than Bandai would like.

As it is, this card might be broken simply because it is a valid target for awakening of the golden knight meaning save decks will now have access to magnamon x.

Powerful? Please, we already got even more powerful cards! They are all mostly Ultimate levels so gimme some lower levels with powerful effects! Or strong effects to support something like that!

I think they might be dizzy from the explosions. Another possibility is that they are going haywire from the viruses inside the Mad Balloon Bomb.

Low key, I often forget that Opossummon is Airu's actual Partner and not its Evolved form ChoHakkaimon since Opossummon got a pathetic amount of screentime in Hunters.

I will be curious to see if it and ChoHakkaimon are a standalone pair in this Set or will they have some kind of Evo-line tied in to go alongside and combo off of.
