Omegamon, Koromon, Greymon, BetelGammamon, & Canoweissmon Previews for Booster Set RB-01

The Digimon Card Game Twitter (2) (3) has updated with card previews from Booster Set RB-01 Rising Wind. This time it's Omegamon, Koromon, Greymon, BetelGammamon, & Canoweissmon.

Reprint previews this time are Omegamon (Booster 5), Koromon (Booster 5), and Greymon (Starter 1.)

BetelGammamon gets a new card of him facing off against GulusGammamon, while Canoweissmon gets a detailed image of him up in the clouds flying with stars visible.

It seems like Takase will draw all Ghost Game trio's evolutions. With Gammamon card yesterday, all Ghost Game Childs and this Gammamon's evolutions, including the newly Siriusmon.

Nice to think that Gammamon and his evolutions now are like other digimon. The new digimon label on them start to fade. At least for me. Hopefully to see them in New Century.

Every time I see Betel be used as the main Gammamon Adult, I think back to that poll where Wezengammamon completely trounced Betel and Kaus, and then to the GG Adult poll where the other three Adults got the top three and then Wezen had like twice as many votes as Betel, and wonder how many people in marketing just got completely fucked up by that result.

I mean, the card game in general has been pretty nice to them since all three main evolutions had one card prior to this one, but that's not the case in other product lines and that makes me smile out of the schadenfreude of it all.

Since day 1 it was clear betelgammamon was the main. I dont think that they care that much about how popular it is compared to the other adult stages, what i think all they care about is Gammamon and Siriusmon popularity.

So now we have two Canoweissmons with the "This card gains gammamon effects" effect and inheritable. Also a nice new BetelGammamon with effects that both Canoweissmon's can benefit from. Wonder if we will see new versions of the other level 4s or if it will just be level 5 focused this time around.

He just feels so underdesigned and awkward, prob cause they wanted to have design aspects saved for gulus and because they were aiming for teenagerish with how childlike gammamon is, but still it's just not appealing, and I say this as a guy who prefers red fiery stuff.

<Raid>: When one of your Digimon with <Raid> declares an attack, you may switch the target of the attack to your opponent's unsuspended Digimon with the highest DP (if multiple Digimon have the highest DP, you get to choose one of them)

normally you can only attack suspended Digimon so this allows you to remove your opponent's beatstick Digimon- just so long as you're a bigger beatstick Digimon

So, do they care about what adult is the most popular? Yes. Do they care at the level of having that reaction? Hell no, i dont think they care that much of betel not being the favourite.
Gammamon and Siriusmon are still there. The only case i can think about an adult stage outperforming the rest of his line in terms of popularity, merch, etc. is Angemon.
