Gotta go with the poo monster. Altho I see Chuumon there, voting for two guys be cheatin
I'd vote for Kew boii usually, but it's gotta be poo boii
Patamon will dominate the poll. Also didn't know Sukamon debuted in this one my guess would've been Gabumon's. I guess Giromon is the only one who never really got his own custom made Mega, so they should get on that.
Yeah, I haven't voted yet, but I'm also kinda leaning on Sukamon. A Digimon based on a literal pile of shit, as disturbing as it is to think of such a thing hopping around everywhere and touching everything, has always been a wild concept. And the original Digital Monster already introduced a monster that would throw poop as a weapon, something that would be used for the entire Digital Monster line's "failure" Digimon, but Sukamon easily took the idea to the most extreme.
Though I will say, Andromon is a contender. And there's just something I like about Bakemon (I especially love seeing it occasionally break out of the powerless mook role that the early anime has unfortunately cursed it with).
BTW, the order of "failure" Digimon by introduction goes: Numemon, Vegimon (Ver.2 with Gabumon), Sukamon, Nanimon, and Raremon (though granted, the last one's a bit of an anomaly, being based more around decay and toxic sludge than feces, and likely why it's been consistently portrayed as being more dangerous than its predecessors).
Scumon, Andromon, Etemon, Patamon, or Ogremon are probably going to win and I wouldn't be shocked if they take up at least four of the top five, but man, this has a lot of my old favorites that weren't from Ver 5. Andromon's always great, but Drimogemon, Centarmon, Unimon, Kunemon... Giromon's cool too, and most everything else is solid stuff.
Going with... Centarmon, because I feel like it's been extremely underappreciated in recent years, and I fear it's going to have less votes than Drimogemon.
One unfortunate thing I've noticed about Ver.3 is that, as of Airdramon's inclusion in Hacker's Memory (and not counting Whamon Adult...... or Ohakadamon), it's the first V-pet to include monsters that weren't in the Cyber Sleuth games, or really any of the more recent video games. Kunemon and Shellmon got to shine a bit in Survive, and Unimon was a Hacker's Memory addition, but Centarmon, Drimogemon, and Giromon are still largely unaccounted for.
As an aside, I couldn't help noticing how stand-alone quite a few of Ver.3's Digimon feel (especially those aforementioned neglected ones), with no obvious pre-evolution or evolution to speak of. Quite a contrast from the Ver.1 and Ver.2 monsters, which seem to have at least one evolutionary connection that's been pretty heavily canonized, if not originally, then certainly by this point (
maybe with the exceptions of Elecmon, Yukidarumon, and Airdramon.... and I guess Vegimon, mainly because its original connection to Vademon has been downplayed a lot and its head crest being Elecmon's tails seems to go completely unnoticed).
