It's already August 1st in Japan, so... time for Odaiba Memorial!

Last year we were waiting for the new movie (and many of us still are), but we have a brand new Digimon series running with Digimon Adventure:, the movie will be out soon in most places that it hasn't come out in yet, we are waiting for games, the card game is running, and we are in the midst of having probably the most Digimon stuff we've had in years, so definitely a fun time to celebrate.


I know lots of people do art or other things on 8/1, so if you want to share feel free. Or just share any Digimon memories you have if you want to.


A lot of other fun stuff is coming up soon...


We are also retweeting various Digimon art people are posting today over on our Twitter.


Later today (about 11 hours away) is DigiFes 2020 Online, where we hope to find out more (although it should be noted it 'not' a 'Digimon Direct' type event, so it's always good to remember that for expectations.)


Although in the wake of Odaiba Memorial and DigiFes, we've gotten some decent news, including but not limited to...
Digimon Adventure: will be running for awhile, and maybe Digimon Survive in January?

A new version of the Digivice from Digimon Adventure, updating it with the content from tri. and Kizuna.
A new subseries for GEM that will feature 'scenes', and it will kickoff with Omegamon vs. Diablomon.
The first details of the 3rd Digimon Card Game Booster.
A new Sanrio x Digimon Adventure Collaboration coming soon.



Will update with anything interesting that shows up also, as various people involved with the brand tend to share fun things around 8/1.

And in case you are wondering the one far to the right on the upper picture is supposed to be Myotismon after I first saw him in the opening before the ''Enter the dark masters'' episode started. I don't think it is a coincident then that he looks a bit like Piedmon.

Happy Odaiba Memorial Day everyone. Great to hear this, it always puts a smile on my face to hear from those making this journey to the real-life Digimon sites in Tokyo. It was one of the most memorable and wonderful experiences of my life back in 2013 when I had my own Digimon Adventure vacation on August 1st to Odaiba and Hikarigaoka. Can't believe it's been seven years now.

August 1st for me starts in a bit over five hours. In the meantime I'm relaxing and will eventually check out social media sites for all the awesome Digimon art. As soon as it hits midnight and becomes Odaiba Day here and I turn 23 Digifes starts, and then tomorrow we got the new Adventure episode so I'm pretty excited at the moment!

Happy Odaiba day everyone! I really needed this this year; going to be exciting to see what we get.

I'm going to be celebrating by drawing up some mons and continuing to play with my Vpets; maybe start a Digimon World Dusk playthrough, chillin'.

Woo! It's the day!(in the West) This is great. Plus we have all this stuff going on. Maybe we can keep going for around 4 or so more seasons of anime before we hit a pause again like with Frontier to Savers. That might be nice. Just wish I didn't have to wait until around 1130 PM US EST to watch an ep on CR. If I had to pay, I'd pay for VRV. I'd get more.

It wasn't intentional, but I decided to invest in the Digimon Adventure series this week. Adventure, 02, Tri, preorder Kizuna. They were like...all on sale.
Some of it happily arrived today and it's been a loooong time since I've watched the dub so this is been allot of fun! It's a fun way to celebrate
