new wtw card site, and a contest to name the card site

think its finally time to announce this, for the past few weeks me and rianmon have been working on plans for a new card site to take over where the old card album took over, but there will be some differences

1- all the scans will be new...yes, ALL the scans (and as far as im aware theres only one card not owned by the person in charge of the actual card work, but ill let him explain it whenever he wants to)
2- after multiple tests we found the perfect mesh of quality and filesize for the scans, of which ill post a few examples later in this post
3- itll launch with Alpha Evolve.3, along with a few of the booster sets from the original card game (at least the 3 lotteria sets, jump festa 1 and 2, and the ex booster 1 and 2, possibly more depending on when the coding is done and what can be scanned in the time)
4- translators who wish to help with some stuff feel free to pm me to apply (not necessary, but will help us do some bonus stuff
5- the cards will have a universal naming scheme based on the card number and the name of the card
6- theres a good possibly there will be many facts, including card release dates, and other stuff

one problem is, we dont know what to call it, 'the card site', 'card island' was suggested, 'card server'....so heres what we are gonna do, send me a pm with 'card site' in the topic with your name idea for the site, the winner will get to be specially involved with an upcoming wtw project (wont be work, but itll be fun), at the end of a few weeks or a month the 5 best ideas (As decided by me and a few other people) will be decided upon, either by a public poll, or by discussions between the admins/supermods, not sure yet


...but i suppose you guys wanna see what the scans will look like

i think one card from each set currently scanned will work

honestly, for the 2 or 3 weeks ive been planning and plotting it ive called it 'the card site' so much it might just end up as 'the card site: presented by wtw-x' or something

although obviously id prefer a real name so keep sending them in

although (and im just being honest)

anything with 'mon' in it, im pretty sure wont make it past step one (minus digimon) simply becuase i think it makes it sound to corny 'cardmon', etc.

wouldnt hold me to that though, im generally finding everything annoying today

edit- and when i say every card, im being literal, between every digimon card from japan and america as far as i know we only dont have access to 7 total (which is part of why i decided to put up the donation button)

(Remember, that's the name of the place where you get your Card Folder and your starter set in DW3)

I think that's a god name, significative and sounds good...
