New Kizuna Commercials & Magazine Info and Art

A few updates...

Update- The Youtube video was later gelocked, so we've mirrored it.

We have a few different small updates for Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna...

First up is a new Japanese commercial for the movie. This is a 15 second spot that focuses on action from the movie.

While short, this spot is mostly made up of footage we haven't seen before, and even includes some new designwork we hadn't seen.



Then we have another video...

A basic but nice trailer for the Fathom screenings.


Tickets for Kizuna in the US are officially on sale. Many theaters have already been selling tickets, and more are likely to be added, but you should check theaters near you on Fathom, Fandango, and Atom.






And then a few magazine things...



We believe the image above is a pull out poster from the March 2020 dated issue of Animedia (not sure the source of the image at the moment.)

The image is new art of Taichi, Yamato, Ken, and Daisuke going out for ramen.

The issue is out February 10th and also includes an interview with Director Tomohisa Taguchi.

Digimon will also be in the March 2020 issue of Animage (also coming out February 10th.) This one uses the final poster art of Taichi and Agumon, and includes an interview with Natsuki Hanae (Taichi) and Chika Sakamoto (Agumon.)

Last up...



Digimon will be in the March 2020 issue of Newtype (again on the 10th.) This one has an interview with Natsuki Hanae, and it appears there will be new artwork in it, although we don't have any images of the inside yet.

Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, the 20th Anniversary film for Digimon Adventure, comes out February 21 in Japan and March 25th in the US.

Eosmon final evo looks amazing, hopefully its strong, based on the trailers, it would seem that would take 2 super ultimates to take it down, so indeed powerful.

What appears to be the base form (A Rookie?) seems super cute. I'd raise one. Not keen on what appears to be the final stage, though

I think Eosmon's whole evo line will have same name pattern like Arkadimon (Child to Super Ultimate)'s name pattern. Hopefully not.

Just looks like a gundam or something. not cute at all. super spiky, etc.

Honestly that final form design doesn’t look out of place as an evolution for Hudiemon, so here’s hoping they work in the Eosmon forms as evolutions to Hudiemon or something.

I'm also strongly reminded of Hudiemon & TigerVespamon. Super hyped up already and that Angewomon & Angemon appearance has doubled my excitement.

Also I would not mind if the whole line got arcadiamon treatment naming wise, this is so that arcadiamon would not be the only one.

It will ruin Arkadimon's uniqueness trait although there are already few ones with that pattern. If there are more new digimons with same pattern, then it'll make it totally look boring and no creativeness. It's like having so many Agumon but just with extra name slapped with it.

Not surprised if that turns out to be the case. It is kinda callback to Chimeramon in 02...

They do seem to use CG pretty dynamically here. Both the Eosmon and Omegamon Close-Ups are initially traditionally animated (in the first few frames) before transitioning to CG when they get further away.
Maybe Adventure⦂ could go for the same style as well...

No it hasn't, both hands are shaped the same, you can clearly see both, when the sparks from Omegamon's attack light up the scene.

Hm, Eosmon's evo got the name, "Morphomon"? Sounds so similar to Metamormon but so it's insect type digimon? Or not... If it's confirmed, then I'm happy since Digimon needs more bugs rather than Kabuterimon/Kuwagamon species.

If the name is Morphomon it would be based on the Morpho butterfly, which is a blue butterfly (just like Hudiemon)
