Even for a first look there really isn't much to see here.

Take a few of the most generic looking UE4 environments put in a few generic store bought assets (although they seem at the very least a bit re-textured), in a style that doesn't really resemble Digimon and then just plop in the embarrassingly low poly anime Taichi model that was already meh in 2012 for a very messy, disjointed look.
The new girl character looks decent at least, so I hope the other human models will be of that quality in the end.

The images seem to come from different stages of development: the ones with Taichi are using the super crappy "my claws are basically just triangles" Agumon model from masters but at some point between that and the second batch they got their hands on the Cyber Sleuth models (but not for Devimon I guess).
But the low point has to be the terribly composited/posed fake battle "screenshot"... I mean at least use Agumon's attack animation where he actually jumps.

Anyway, being a Korean MMO, I don't really have much hope of it being either fair or innovative, but the upside of everything probably being absolutely generic and by the numbers is that you can play it in Korean without missing much at all. I might check it out if there's a way but it's unlikely that I'd have time to stick if it even in the unlikely event of it actually being good.
Or it could be the same as with KDMO which, janky as it was, kept me engaged for a while and then when it came to the west years later there was really no point in switching over; not only would it just not have been satisfying to play a version months behind in content, the plot was so thin and the translation so terrible that basically nothing of value was added anyway.

Too bad there's nothing about the gameplay yet, but I guess a fully featured open world file island with a day/night cycle could be interesting, and it at least seems like that's what they could be going for considering the beach in the third picture can be seen from the cliff in the first one and the hills at the edge of the second to last picture look very much like the ones in the last. The levels still could end up being separated but then it would just be a fancier version of the Masters File Island map.

They had my attention with "Digimon MMO", but lost it again with "based on Adventure". I'm getting so sick of those kids. At least File Island looks really pretty in Unreal Engine. But the old, low-poly, anime-inspired Digimon models that look like they're reused from Masters look so out of place. Like it looks just like one of those fanmade Mario or Pokemon Unreal games that Youtube and Twitter comments go nuts over.

I tried the first MMO that came here. Then I just tried but didn't do much of anything for the second. ...I just don't do MMOs I guess.

this. New Century did it right by having the Adventure nostalgia pandering being playable anime episodes for maximum nostalgia bait as well as seeming to have episodes for the other anime series as well which is super appreciated. Meanwhile the main game aesthetically feels very Nintendo DS Digimon Story mixed with some Cyber Sleuth to me.
But an entire game being Adventure themed just fails to have any impact after seeing it done already multiple times

Huh, I'm with other people on the title, I came here fully expecting a fighting game of some sort lol.

The actual look of the game isn't exactly great, but I think I'd rather look at generic assets than custom-made ones that look bad on their own. The artstyle clash is definitely jarring though.

I don't play MMOs, but I've always been interested in playing Masters so I guess this will be my entry into Digimon MMOs. The consensus I've come across is generally a whole lot of complaints about Masters, so here's hoping this one is better.

Also, wasn't the PSP game the last Adventure game? We went all of tri., Kizuna, and most of Adventure: without a direct tie-in game (you could definitely argue Cyber Sleuth was inspired by Our War Game).

I haven't made up my mind on this yet. When I seen digimon mmo I said to myself sign me up. But finding out it's based on adventure like some other mon games are and it's in Korean really ruined it for me. Just another thing that's been ruined for me when it comes to gaming.

I'm interested to see if any potential new storylines and characters will be considered canon to Adventure. Given the nature of its production, probably not but you never know right?

I am quite excited for this, and the prospect of turn based battles, I absolutely loved Digimon Battle Online back in the day, lots of nostalgic memories!

I'm really pumped for this. The screenshots look really beautiful. I just hope it's not as heavy as DMO is in the p2w department.

NGL, the name makes it sound a lot like a MOBA, but that's just my silly personal opinion.

I'm kinda excited to see these "side" Digimon games got released earlier than the next news on Digimon Survive. At least we have some Digimon-related games.
