New Digimon CD Next Year, Unknown Details for Now

We have an early announcement of a new Digimon CD for next year.



We know almost nothing about it at the moment minus some comments from a producer.

The producer revealed it's existence on the Digimon Music Twitter, but didn't get us much in the way of solid details.


He revealed that he has the CD cover artwork already and it will be out next year. He says the illustration is quite moving and it brought tears to his eyes, but that he can't show it yet.


Is it an ED for tri. part 4? A new OP? Something else? We have no clue!

Well, we know it's not a tribute to Wada since we already had that.. The silly part of my mind lead to 02.. but of course that won't be.
it probably will be nostalgic, whatever it is.

I hope it is a brand-new CD, something unexpected, but no idea why at this early point the productor would highligh that the cover is that moving, instead of something about the music content itself.

Maybe character songs for Tri, sung by the new voice actors?

My hope is that it includes the score played during HerculesKabuterimon's evolution in part 3 although i'm doubtful. Which is a shame because I can't find the song anywhere.
