oh yes Epcar gets a role ^^ but i wonder which voice he'll use.
But Merukimon....i do not get that dub name change at all (besides the fact Mercurymon was used in Frontier, but we have the removal of the "Olympian god")

If they wanted to avoid confusion with the Dubname of the H-Hybrid of Steel they could have named him Mercuriusmon or something like that.

Yeah, that does seem like an odd choice for his dub name, but who knows it could of been due to a typo or something. I mean they could of meant for a Merkurimon(yes K instead of C) or something like that, and accidentally reversed the K and u around getting Merukimon because the missed a letter, it's hard to say really.

Sure it means changing an Olympian, but still I don't think its to bad.

We had Omega(the end or something like that along with the last letter of the Greek alphabet) become Omni(which I believe is something like all, as in omniscient)

So what looks like a typo or something isn't that bad really in my opinion, sure they could of just gone and changed it from Mercury to his Greek Counterpart, of Hermes(I think that's the right one) and called it good.

But there isn't much we can do about it, sure maybe we will get some odd pronounciation like Murky mon, which one could then say is a shortened version of Murcurymon (like dropping vowels in character names that appear on screen in Megaman BN/SF, so stuff usually ends up something Mn instead of Man, Queen becoming Qn)

Though I'm not one of the ones that knows who did who in the world of voice acting some names sound familiar, especially these three, so it should sound decent.

Paul St. Peter for saberleomon? i'm sure we all saw that coming (hope he voices banchouleomon too). but about Michael Lindsay as gotsumon, was he the one that always voiced gotsumon? because the japanese voice sounds exactly like the english voice of the past series and it would stink if suddenly there was a new voice.

The voices are alright but that name change is odd. But if it sounds the same then it may not matter much anyway.

Merukimon, sounds strange, but I wonder if this name is gonna be used in Digimon World Data Squad. Still though, Epcar is a good choice. In fact, he's one of the best dubbed Digimon actors. Especially what he's done as Etemon and Myotismon.

St. Peter as SaberLeomon. No matter which season Digimon season he's on... he's always playing the lion. Except on season 2 and Lowemon/JagerLowemon.

You know, that joke was actually really funny. XD

Hmm.. I was kinda hoping for St. Peter to be Mercurimon and Epcar to be SaberLeomon, interestingly enough... I guess we'll see where that goes.

what the hell @ Mercurimon's name change. I hope that's a typo.

Other than that, it's going to be interesting to have Epcar voicing a good (well, mostly) Digimon for once. Kinda strange that they didn't get Gotsumon's usual VA. And great to see Paul St. Peter returning to voice yet another doomed Leomon.

How did they get around the name similarities in Japanese? I didn't see any Japanese Frontier with Mercurymon.

The Frontier one was Merukyuuremon, where as the Olypian one is Merukurimon, so its a slight katakana difference.

So looking at the kana for the savers one I can see where they got Merukimon from, Meru and then randomly shorten Kuri to Ki and you get Merukimon.

I somehow can't see Mercurimon having a Myo or Ete voice (well mainly the latter) so for Epcar to have a good digimon voice should be interesting.

considering they had one all over the place in season 4, I imagine nothing.
