MirageGaogamon Preview for Booster Set 11

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set 11 Dimensional Phase. This time it's MirageGaogamon

MirageGaogamon features him and Nicolai from Re:Digitize in an icy environment, and have a nice cartoony style to them.

hm, interesting how Nicolai appears in all of Gaomon evolution's artwork.

Makes me wonder if there will be an alternative Agumon line where Taiga is present in all evolution arts. I would personally prefer sticking to RustTyrannomon for Taiga though and it might be just Takase's artwork choice to have Nicolai featured. It is however interesting Nakano Haito alligned with Takase to do the Agumon art in the same vein as were Gaomon's & Biyomon's.

Man, I just cannot get behind Takase's art. It looks like in-game art from, like, a phone game. It's got the worst Dx2 vibes. The more cartoony art style should work, but it just looks so off every time.

so on digivolve itll either return a lv5- digimon or a security card to the hand unless you got 0 digis(or only lvl 6+s)/no security in which case you just swing for game

Thats actually really decent as an archetype, especially compared to old Gaomon.

I just went back through Takase's catalogue and I think it's just the recent sets that I'm not wild about. The further back I go the better it looks. The Holydramon parallel from EX3 feels like a turning point.
