Minomon and Nyaromon Previews for Starter Decks 9 & 10

Ongoing (as short as they will be) previews for the new starter decks!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Starter Decks 9 and 10. This time it's Minomon and Nyaromon.

Minomon gets some fun art showing various baby Digimon stressing out Wormmon. Minomon and Leafmon are waiting for a Pipimon to hatch. I believe this is the first time we've seen Pipimon's digiegg, which is described in profile text as fruit from a tree.

Nyaromon is hanging out with YukimiBotamon. The scenery recalls a few areas from Adventure:, along with the feathers in the sky.


Fun art to start formal previews with, even if we've seen most of the cards already.

Considering Pipimon has no known BabyII form to speak of, is this the closest it's gonna get to appearing in the card game?

Oh so that is digiegg which Pipimon hatched from? It sure looked so different from all other digieggs due to its shell is unique and it's tree bark. I like this digitama design. Very unique!

I was annoyed Budmon was paired with Yuramon and not Pipimon for the tcg. Maybe the Radishmon/Clionemon thing from the 02 movie will be it’s canon evolution.

I think that's Datirimon.

Yeah, it's Pipimon. The reason why I italicized "the fruit" is because in its Profile, Pipimon said to be born from a fruit. We can call the fruit its digitama.
It's just cool to finally see that fruit. The official look of it.

I view Chapmon as a potential evo myself, but yeah, Budmon could've worked. Like Chapmon, it also was one of the first BabyII Digimon to not be tied to an exclusive BabyI form, and unlike Wanyamon, its card was featuring it with a pre-evo that wasn't the one it had originally, Botamon.

Though I'm now left to wonder if this card's subtly hinting at Minomon being a potential Pipimon evolution. They are both plant-based, after all.
