MetalGarurumon Preview for Booster Set 2

New card preview from the Digimon Card Game!

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a new card preview from Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power a bit early today. This time it's MetalGarurumon

MetalGarurumon has some very nice art with a lot of interesting lighting effects on it (and a visual layer applied to it to show it off as a card that will be holo.)



Digimon Card Game Booster Set 2 Ultimate Power is scheduled to release on July 22nd. The biggest preview we've gotten so far of cards from that set was the recent 4 page spread from V-Jump.

So pretty much our boy is trying to fill the battlefield with Digimon

The Gabumon line was Purple in Battle Spirits

So was one of the Agumon cards actually. So we'll prob get a purple Agumon later

 

[Nightwing]

Garurumon and WereGarurumon being Nightmare Soldiers probably help the purple choice here, the main poster for the booster featured MetalGarurumon so this was expected. I’m mostly surprised at how early this was revealed, about 5 hours earlier than usual. Really nice art, Nakano Haito is continuing to be involved with the game and I’m really glad.

Cool looking design with a good effect to go with it. I love the play style of filling up your field for free. But oh well I'm gonna be a purple user no matter what.
