The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with a card preview from Booster Set EX-02 Digital Hazard. This time it's Mephismon.

Mephismon continues the run of recent previews showing off characters from Tamers movies who will be getting cards. Some really nice detailing here.

Those hands are... oddly detailed. I suppose this means we'll see Gulfmon as well.

Ahem, anyways that Skill is painful. Draw 2 then Discard 2 for an "On Play" effect as well. Unless you're playing Mephismon from the Trash itself, I don't think its worth it. 😨

Draw 2 then Discard 2 for an "On Play" effect as well.
Draw 2 Discard 2 on a body is extremely powerful in any deck that wants to get things into the yard, speaking across all card games historically.

Especially since purple loves to play cards from the trash and gain effects based on having lots of cards there.

Right. This looks worse than, say, that card in BT-01 that was 7 cost and straight drew two, but while draw 2 on a body is always extremely powerful in any deck, draw/discard 2 on a body is, in the right deck, even stronger because it's self mill with selection that removes bricks from your hand, in a deck that is going to want self mill.
