The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set 4 Great Legend. This time it's Meicoomon and Meicrackmon.

Both cards look great with a bright and vivid style to them. The Meicoomon card we first saw recently on the Booster Set 4 promo poster. Meicrackmon we haven't seen, but she's done in a matching style and looks quite happy in it.

Digimon Card Game Booster Set 4 Great Legend is scheduled to release on December 18th

Episode 56 of Fun Digica went up earlier today.

Like last time, Cody and Hideyoshi go over questions people had regarding rules and usage for cards from Booster Set 3.

A few screenshots.

Hopefully we get Vicious Mode (and Raguelmon) as well, though that'll probably have to wait for a future set with a Purple Meicoomon card.

and hey, maybe now theyll bring back that nameless Salamon recolour that was on the Tri website (they wont).

So these cards have a bit of a comeback/revenge theme. I like!
The art is also adorable too

@dansplosion Yellow also has cards that can purposefully lower your security as well (and cards that make you gain security to have it be right at 3) so when it wants to it can play risky and reap a lot of rewards without needing the opponent to touch them. It can be a really sneaky color!

Meicrackmon is a double ST1 Takeru for less cost than two Takerus.

And Ordinemon for later. Can't wait.

Turns out their names will be just Nyaromon and Plotmon lol. We have to wait for their official profiles in DRB if that's the case.

Meicoomon reminds me heavily of Booster 2 Tailmon, as it's a 5 Cost On Play Lv4 that cuts DP by 4000. Obvious difference being that Meicoomon is tied to your Security as opposed to having a Purple Digimon on the board, which is more in-theme for a Mono-Yellow Deck anyways.

As others have stated, Meicrackmon is basically just two Starter Deck Takerus on a body, though given that it doesn't trigger until you're at 3 or less and the fact that the effect will fizzle if Meicrackmon leaves the field in any capacity, this is definitely intended to be played with Takeru rather then be a replacement for it in my eyes. Here's hoping another playstyle for Yellow can emerge from this booster, since while I'm glad ShineGreymon decks exist to give Yellow a solid gameplan, it also kinda bothers me that ShineGreymon overshadows all the other Yellow cards that it's often considering the only way to viably play Yellow, so I'm hoping for another Yellow deck to emerge sooner rather then later.

well there are a lot of differences that could make T.K. better in some situations. T.K. doesn't have to be triggered by having less than 3 security, there aren't any cards that can remove T.K. after it's played unlike Meicrack, and if you have to play Meicrack from hand that's the cost of over 3 T.K.s.
Of course, these cards are definitely both at their best when they're played with each other. A deck that has all of its security cards do like +10,000 DP will have beautiful defense
