Megidramon & Option Card Megiddo Flame Preview for Booster Set EX-03

The Digimon Card Game Twitter has updated with card previews from Booster Set EX-03 Dragon's Roar. This time it's Megidramon & Megiddo Flame.

Megidramon gets some nice shiny artwork of him in the midst of battle, while option card Megiddo Flame features one of his signature attacks, burning everything it can.

Okay, once again, we'll need to see "trial of the great dragons" to decide how good the card is. It seems like all of them have their on delete ability of playing a "trial of the great dragons" so you get one in play, swing with it, get it deleted somehow (Or use one of purple's many deletion options) and play another one.

Interesting that it's also a rare. Maybe the Four Great Dragons are a subtheme this time. Or they could go the Musketeer's route and make the best one a secret rare.

Edit: I did not look at Megido Flare before, holy shit, that's a good card.

If all the Great Dragons are at Rare, even if Trial of the Four Great Dragons isn't amazing I'm sure it'll make a pretty accessible and fun casual archetype. Would be neat to get an option at Super, though. Based on the wording it sounds like a Delay Option, which they've gotten more creative with in ST12 and ST13.

The real story is probably gonna be Megiddo Flame, though.

[When Deleted] If you don't have a card named [Trial of the Four Great Dragons] in play, you can play 1 [Trial of the Four Great Dragons] from your hand to your battle area without playing its memory cost.

Megido Flame
[Main] Delete 1 your opponent's level 4 or lower Digimon. You may instead delete 1 of your digimon to delete 1 of your opponent's level 6 or lower Digimon.
[Security] You may play a card named "Guilmon" from your trash without paying its memory cost.
