Hello! I skimmed through the forum yesterday and it seems we don't have a thread for the card game. Is that correct or did I miss it?

As usual, these are solid cards. Interesting to think that we're actually done with the Option Cards of the Wave 2 Starter Decks now given they changed the ratios here, anything else from this point is gonna be Digimon. Anyways, let's get into it.

Electro Shocker/Mega Blaster is essentially Green's "Final Elyisum" as it were, being a cheaper version of Terror Cluster. Both have the condition of requiring the target to be suspended, but the give and take here is that you're paying two less for Electro Shocker to simply return the target to the hand instead of shuffling to the bottom of the deck. This actually does create an interesting dichotomy between the two, since while I much prefer the 5 Cost of Electro Shocker, Terror Cluster shuffling into the deck does have some undeniable perks. Most obviously, shuffling to the bottom of the deck is tantamount to removing the card from the game, since returning the card to hand has the same problem as Cocytus Breath where the card itself remains in their hand to be used later.

Genocide Attack is a simple and sweet destruction effect. It's very clearly intended to go alongside the Devolve Effect found in Black since lower level Digimon have naturally lower cost, though unlike something like "That Was a Good Time" from Union Impact, this one doesn't have an innate Devolve Effect in exchange for having a higher range. Still, alot of Lv5's tend to have a cost around 6 or 7, so I'm interested to see if this one might see play as a simple "Destroy one of your opponent's Lv5 or lower Digimon. Most of the time." card.

Nail Bone is perhaps the most unique of the bunch here, as it doesn't really have a proper equivalent just yet. The best thing I could compare it to is Piedmon's "On Play" effect that revives two Lv4s or lower from the Trash. Grisly Wing and Necrophobia both only revive one Digimon, and neither can target a Lv4, which is somewhat relevant considering that's where Blockers tend to be. Anyways, the obvious trade off here is that you're giving up the ability to put Piedmon's presence on the field with Retaliation and what have you (alongside the ability to revive another Lv4 such as the aforementioned Blocker instead of just one) in exchange for being much, much, cheaper, almost half at that. If I'm being perfectly honest, I think the way I like to play Purple would probably still prefer Piedmon, but I do like that a cheaper alternative exists and I can totally see this being used in a Purple Option deck featuring stuff like Lilithmon or even that new Promo MetalGarurumon (Black) since those cards would make Nail Bone considerably cheaper and give your opponent much less room for follow-up on their turn.

So yeah, TL;DR, I like these. These all have very defined niches that aren't objectively better then existing cards, but also have very clear perks to them, so I could totally see all three seeing use.

What strikes me here is that the Security effect on this is pretty good. If this comes up as Security, you either bounce the thing that just attacked, or bounce something that previously attacked.

(Also is this the first we've heard of Skullsatamon getting into this deck?)

Nah, we actually had a Decklist for each of the three via magazine scans when we were first getting details on them. Didn't get any effects naturally, but we at least knew who was getting represented visually. Won't go too deep into the other two since this information is here on this forum, but in the case of Venom Violet here, the cards yet to be revealed are:
Lv3's: Dracumon and Elecmon
Lv4's: Garurumon, Devimon and Youkomon
Lv5's: SkullSatamon and Kyukimon
